May 2025 

In May 2025, a delegation from the Association of Two Toledos and Councilwoman Cerssandra McPherson visited Toledo, Spain.  We received a warm welcome in Toledo, a city perched above the Tagus River, enveloped in stone walls and golden light. As we roamed the cobblestone streets, each turn unveiled something delightful: a serene courtyard, a church, or a quaint shop selling handmade swords and marzapan. The rich tapestry Christian, Jewish, and Muslim history is not confined to museums; it thrives in the architecture, street names, and the pulse of everyday. Standing inside the Toledo Cathedral left us in awe. Experiencing El Greco’s artwork in the city of his residence added profound depth to our visit. Yet, some of our most cherished moments were spent enjoying tapas and drinks with our friends from the Toledo, Spain Association of Two Toledos and members of Mayor's office.  We looked forward to their visit in August 2026.
